Bridge Saw Blade Quartz & Granite Zenesis15

This is the Zenesis 15 bridge saw blade. It features segment technology whereby the position of each diamond in the segment is precisely controlled. The whole segment is effectively a regular 3D Array of diamond crystals and it is plainly visible when you look at the size of the segment. The effect of this technology gives two main advantages; firstly, the cutting speed is extremely fast, and secondly, the life of the blade is increased.

In a Zenesis blade segment, each diamond is placed exactly so that there is always a row of the maximum exposed diamonds, which guarantees optimum performance. Each diamond is held in place until it is completely used up and when it is finished, another immediately replaces it, extending the life of the blade. With perfect spacing between the diamonds creating channels, cut material is easily carried away, letting the blade cut more efficiently and adding speed to the cutting process.

*Mitre cutting requires Supporting Flanges

  • This table shows recommended parameters for a cutting depth of 20mm or 30mm quartz or granite
  • For mitre cutting, use the Supporting Flanges and reduce the feed rate by 30% for all materials
  • The achievable feed rate maybe higher for more powerful machines
  • We suggest using the highest possible feed rate achievable for the material being processed

Bridge Saw Blade Diameters for StoneRotation Speeds for Cutting Stone

CE Standard, tested to: EN13236

Max rotation speeds (RPM) for blade diameters

  • 300mm: 3200 RPM
  • 350mm: 2750 RPM
  • 400mm: 2400 RPM
  • 450mm: 2150 RPM
  • 500mm: 1950 RPM
  • 600mm: 1150 RPM

Preliminary Safety Measures

  • Always read manufacturer instructions before use
  • To be used on static guarded machines only
  • Check blade visually before use: should it appear to have been damaged or to have suffered impact do not use
  • Before starting up the machine, check that: the blade is correctly clamped on the machine shaft and the protection systems are present, functioning and undamaged; if not, stop work
  • If the blade used is not silent bodied, the operator is advised to use ear muffs or other adequate protection
  • Excessive pressure, advance or depth of cut during operation can over heat and damage the blade and/or machine
  • The use of water coolant is necessary

Instructions for Using and Mounting the Blade

  • When mounted, the machine must be off and the rotation direction of the blade (see arrow on the blade body) must be the same rotation direction of the machine arbour
  • Check that the machine arbour is not damaged or worn: there must be no play in the couplings
  • Make sure that the flange and counter flange locking the blade are the same diameter and are perfectly flat, clean and tightened according to the machine manufacturer’s indications
  • Check that the water flow is enough for cooling of the blade
  • To obtain a smooth product finish, it is important for the disc to extend underneath the lower edge of the stone slab
Always ensure that you have suitable health and safety procedures in place Max RPM CE Standard, tested to: EN13236 For static machines
