What is Bi Power Technology by Marmoelettromeccanica?
Bi Power technology is the name of profile wheel position produced by Marmoelettromeccanica (MEM). It is the final metal grinding wheel in a set, Pos 3 and is designed for all materials. They are used after the Perfect Form, MEM Professional or MEM Electroplated tools. These tools are available for CNC machines as well as manual and semi-automatic machines.
A vital part of the sequence, it is designed to prepare the edge of the stone for the MEM Long Life tools.
Perfect Mould Everytime!
The Bi Power wheel is a continuous rim sintered positions made of very fine diamond. The wheel removes a very small amount of material (0.1mm) and is the exact profile shape. This ensures that the polishing abrasives used next are polishing the true shape.
It is imperative that the Bi Power position is used before Pos 4 - 6. These tools will not lose their shape.
Remove Toucher Line Markings on Manual and Semi-automatic Machines
Unlike the previous grinding positions in the set, the Bi Power position for manual and semi-automatic tools does not feature a rotating toucher washer as the diamond is a fine grit. This benefit manual and semi-automatic machine operators; it removes the need to manually remove the toucher washer lines in the edge before using position 3, as this position will rectify them before the polishing abrasives. The Bi Power is a robust and well-constructed tool - the rigid mold helps to remove any ridges or imperfections created by previous positions.

Application of Bi Power Edge Profiling Positions
These tools are a vital part of a polishing and grinding set. Bi Power technology is the Pos 3 tool for both CNC machines as well as manual and semi-automatic machines. Position 3 leaves the grain of the material at G280 and removes 0.1mm of material.
This position is for use on all materials. Bi Power technology is featured on Pos 3 of all tools in CNC sets and manual and semi-automatic machine sets.
