Long Tool Life

The lifespan of EHS tools is not shortened by the fast working speeds. Although tool life is difficult to accurately predict due to many different factors and variables involved in stone processing, the table below shows the approximate linear meterage results typical to an open profile edge shape.

Compared with other brands, the EHS range offer similar tool life and this is not compromised due to the speed.

No Need to Redress

EHS tools feature a continuous rim diamond coating that wears evenly. This removes the need to remove the tools from production and pay for redressing services. This also means that you do not need to purchase additional tools to use while other tools are being redressed to continue working.

Easy Set Up with Z-Axis Alignment

All profiling tools from Marmo are supplied with a technical set up sheet. This helps to speed up the set up of the tools, as the operator can enter all geometric values into the CNC machine without having to measure the wheels manually or use the automatic system of the machine. All of the tools in the set have Z-axis alignment meaning only one manual check of the tools is required on only one position (we recommend Pos 3 as this is the final metal position). This increases the accuracy of the tools, decreases set up time and reduces the chance of error.

EHS Line 60

This is a full EHS Line 60 tool set, with an outside diameter of 60mm. These tools have a standard 35mmØ bore, although bore reducers are available to connect the tools to different machines and cone fittings. EHS Line 60 Technical Parameters

EHS Line 40

The EHS range is also available in Line 40, with an outside diameter of 40mm. A single set of Line 40 tools can be installed and used for both internal edge polishing, (creating a radius of 20mm on corners) as well as straight external edge polishing. This simplifies the production process, resulting in quick processing as the material does not need machining by other tools on the CNC machine or worked on in another production area. Line 40 tools have a standard 22mmØ bore.

Line 40 tools work at the same fast speed as Line 60 tools.

EHS Line 20

This is a full EHS Line 20 tool set, with an outside diameter of 20mm. They can be used for internal edge polishing and leave a radius of 10mm on corners. These tools feature a 1/2" GAS Male fitting that will screw into a standard 1/2" GAS Female cone. Line 20 tools can be used with any manufacturer/brand of CNC machine. The full Line 20 set includes the following:
